3. Cut Out The Sweets & Refined Foods
When you eat sweets and refined foods you actually increase the amount of cholesterol that is being produced in your body. And the big problem with these foods is that they are very addicting. And the more you eat the higher your cholesterol goes. By eliminating them from your diet you will actually start to enjoy the taste of fruits and vegetables more.
4. Drink More Water
Water is so good for it cleans you out and helps keep your vital organs functioning properly. It also helps keep your cholesterol low. So start drinking more water. I am not saying drink 8 glasses a day but you should get as much as you can. If you drink coffee or alcohol try to limit it to one drink a day.
5. Learn How To Properly Manage Stress
There is a very visible link between high cholesterol and too much stress. Just learning how to relax is one of the best ways to lower your cholesterol naturally. Start meditating every morning for just 5 minutes. Doesn’t sound like much but trust me that 5 minutes will do a lot for you. Go do something relaxing like lay out at the beach or take a yoga class.
You should also make sure you get plenty of rest every night as that will help keep your stress levels down as well. Don’t take on more then you can handle. Stress is usually caused by trying to be too much and do too much. It’s okay to say no sometimes. It’s actually healthy for you.
